Manki is a flashcard app for learning English vocabulary, developed by Anastasiia Bosakevych. This policy explains what data the app does — and does not — collect.
The short version: everything stays on your device. Manki has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and does not transmit your data anywhere.
01. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. Manki has no sign-up, no login, and no contact form inside the app. The only time you communicate with us is if you choose to email support — and we use that message only to reply to you.
02. Data storage
All app data — your decks, your cards, and your learning progress — is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. Nothing leaves the device.
03. Third-party services
Manki does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, cookies, or pixels. The app does not load remote content from third-party servers for the purpose of profiling you.
Subscription billing is handled by Apple via the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see or store your payment information.
04. Children's privacy
Manki does not collect data from any user, including children. The app is safe to use at any age, but we do not knowingly market the app to children under 13.
05. Data sharing
We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to anyone. There is nothing to share — we have no servers receiving your activity.
06. Your rights
Because no data leaves your device, you have complete control over it at all times. You can delete every deck, card, and progress record by removing Manki from your device. There is no account to close and no data we hold on your behalf.
07. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
